On July 30, 2021Ausbon Sargent purchased and became the owner of this 5.56-acre property, adjacent to the 384.5-acre Sawyer Brook Headwaters property, in Grantham. This property, which has frontage on the Class VI section of Dunbar Hill Road, will allow for safe access to those wishing to explore the Sawyer Brook Property. The Stamper Property is mostly forested, and has several significant vernal pools, which provide breeding grounds for many amphibians. Once purchased, Ausbon Sargent worked to place a conservation easement on the land and gifted it to the Town of Grantham on January 14, 2022. It will now be managed by the Town alongside the Sawyer Brook Headwaters property, and Ausbon Sargent holds the conservation easement.
