Over the years, Harding Hill Farm has been host to forestry, farming and maple sugaring activities.  They are in the process of completing a new post and beam sugarhouse on their Harding Hill property at the corner of Stagecoach Road and NH Route 103 in Sunapee and we're all invited to visit them there.  Our event will begin at the new sugarhouse, then we'll explore an area of oak management, walk to the permanantly protected rail corridor used for hiking and snowmobiling and look at other interesting aspects of the property near the new sugarhouse.  Let us know if you'd like to join us.

This monitoring workshop is designed to share with prospective easement monitors the process and expectations we have developed for monitoring our many conservation easements.  We will cover aspects of the task such as map and compass reading, contacting landowners and completing the necessary paperwork.  We hope you'll find this an enjoyable and rewarding volunteer experience.

The Land Trust Alliance, Ausbon Sargent's parent organization, hosts a national conference in a major US city each year, offering participants an opportunity to learn, share and network with other professionals in the field of conservation.
