Dr. Ross Virginia will be speaking about the impacts of the quickly changing environment on the polar regions. Dr. Virginia is the Myers Professor of Environmental Science at Dartmouth College and a past director of the Dickey Center for International Understanding’s Institute of Arctic Studies at Dartmouth. He has 30 years of research studying how climate change is affecting the polar regions, specifically in Antarctica and in the tundra of western Greenland.
