On December 22, 2022 Stephen and Sandra Bravo donated a conservation easement on their 91.9-acre piece of property to insure it would be protected from development, forever. The property is highly ranked for wildlife habitat, and both agricultural and forestry soils. It is made up of forestland and open fields, and streams that run across it flow into Lake Massasecum. Although this property is not open for public access, it does provide for a public benefit, which is the protection of the area's watershed.
We thank Stephen and Sandra for their forward-thinking and planning to insure that this property will remain a haven for the wildlife that call it home, including the migrant species that rely on it for safe passage to the places they call home.
