King Hill Road, New London

The easement donated by Dorothy Adams and Edith Nordstrom permanently protects seven acres of open field and forest. The property includes 640 feet of road frontage along King Hill Road and 1,000 feet of road frontage along Bog Road. This property was cited in New London's Master Plan as a priority to be preserved. The goal of Adams and Nordstrom was to protect and preserve the scenic character of the New London rural landscape. The land cannot be developed and it cannot be used to satisfy density requirements for building.

The property ownership transferred to Earl Davis III in October 1998. It was transferred in July 2001 to Paul and Susan Snow.

The Town of New London Conservation Commission holds an executory interest in the conservation easement.
