Birding on the Frank Simpson Reserve

Monday, May 20, 2019 - 5:30pm to 7:00pm

In August 2018, Steve Hale of Open World Explorers offered a birding lecture and experience using the Wendell Marsh South protected property as his site "laboratory."  The event was well-attended and we received very positive feedback from the participants.  Steve will be returning to our area on May 20th to present his introductory lecture at the Abbott Library in Sunapee followed by an experiential birding excursion to the Frank Simpson Reserve.  Ausbon Sargent and the Abbott Library will co-sponsor this event.  We hope you can join us.

If you plan to join us for this event, please RSVP to Kristy by calling 526-6555 or emailing her at kheath@ausbonsargent.org.

Directions to the Abbott Library in Sunapee:
Depending on your starting location, drive East or West on NH-Route 11 to the center of Sunapee.  Turn onto Sargent Rd. which is next to the Sunapee Fire Station.  (You will see the Abbott Library at the top of the hill on the opposite side of Sargent Rd.)  Within ¼ mile, make a right turn onto Soonipi Circle which is the driveway leading to the Abbott Library parking lot.  Enter the library through the doors by the parking lot.
